Moving onto a new system is usually the hard part. With HeliLab it is our work, not yours. You send an accurate status report of the aircraft in Excel — we build the entire record and hand back a live, ready-to-use system.
The process
01
Enquiry
Tell us the scope of the fleet — how many aircraft, which types and registrations, and how records are kept today.
02
Excel status report
You complete an Excel workbook per aircraft with its current status. There is no single standard template — the content differs by model, so we agree the format with you up front. More detail is always better.
03
We build the record
We load the airframe, engine, major components, serials, hours, cycles, inspection schedule, calendar items and documents against the actual model and configuration.
04
Verification
Every figure is checked back against the source documents you supplied and queried with you where anything does not reconcile. Accuracy of the opening record is the whole point.
05
Go live
You receive your login, the app is installed on your devices, and a short walkthrough is done with the people who will use it. From there it is hours in, everything else automatic.
What to send us
Current airframe TT, Hobbs, engine TT, cycles and landings
Time since C of A and last inspection details
Major component list with part numbers, serials and installed hours
Life-limited part positions and remaining life
Inspection and overhaul schedule for the type
C of A, C of R, weight schedule and current release documents
Any AD / SB status you hold
Not sure what you have? Send what exists — we will tell you what is missing.
What it costs you
Nothing. Setup and onboarding are included in the monthly subscription of R399 per aircraft, excluding VAT.
Once the record is built there is no ongoing admin project. Enter hours after flying and the system keeps the rest current — component life, inspections, calendar limits and documents. Support stays with you for as long as you subscribe.
